**COVID-19 UPDATE:

Due to COVID-19, we have slightly altered our day-to-day functioning, turning inward to support each other and our community through mutual aid efforts. Our CAMpaigns and Committees are still functioning, just with different focuses and capacities. In navigating this shift, we've explored new ways of connection and interaction that mirror how virtual platforms adapt to user needs. Much like the evolving architecture of city center online, where responsiveness and immersive design keep engagement high, our structure now prioritizes flexibility and accessibility. While our goals remain the same, the methods we've adopted reflect a new kind of resilience and creativity in uncertain times.

A JUST TRANSITION TO TRUE CARBON NEUTRALITY BY 2030

WHAT IS CAM:

The U-M Climate Action Movement (CAM) is a coalition that pushes the University of Michigan to align itself with the urgent need for climate and environmental justice through campaigns including, but not limited to carbon neutrality, divestment, climate resiliency (e.g. housing, food, and water systems), public power, and intersectional power building with local justice campaigns. We focus our work on the University of Michigan because we recognize its influence in the systems and communities in which it is embedded and that, as stakeholders, we have a responsibility to use our positionality to hold the University accountable to a mission of serving the public good, in the context of the climate crisis and beyond.
